We would like everyone to watch this show if they can, or set your DVD.  It is very important to us to get the message out there that we want this case open, we want justice for Morgan and we will NEVER give up!  Morgan deserves justice & all victims of stalking need to be taken seriously.  Stalking is devastating and oftentimes deadly, as it was in Morgan’s case.

The episode is called “Edge of Insanity”

Toni Ingram resides in a quiet town with her husband Steve and their 19-year-old daughter, Morgan. But the peaceful neighborhood is shaken with fear after a series of local robberies. Soon after that, the Ingram family experiences a suspicious character circling their home, and Morgan becomes the next target. Threatening behavior quickly escalates into stalking, and Morgan battles to keep hold of her sanity as her hooded tormentor closes in. Location: Carbondale, Colorado

    • This production crew was so wonderful – they were very moved by Morgan’s story and really wanted to help raise awareness and try to show people that this needs to be investigated so yes, I am thrilled. Thank you Deborah for your support.

  1. I don’t understand how the police could be so blind. My heart brakes for your family I pray to God that someone comes forward to give your family justice.

    • Thank you so much Edith. We have done so much work to find actual proof of the “whys” the sheriffs covered this up and we now finally know the “why”. And Morgan’s case is not the only case that has been covered up in Colorado.

  2. Just watch the episode. It’s bizarre to see such evil inaction, and sad to see how it can have scheduled a devastating impact. Prayers for you and her family, and peace whether you find justice here on earth or not

  3. I am in absolute shock and disbelief after watching this. I have a daughter myself and I cannot begin to express to you the sheer horror this impacts on me. I am so sorry for your loss and absolutely astounded that you have not had more assistance in solving the obvious murder of your daughter. I am so sorry, as one mother to another, I am so sorry. I cannot believe that law enforcement has not aided you more in the capture of this obvious predator! I watch all these other crime solving documentaries and they can solve an entire murder by a strand of hair!? Why not more vigorous effort and extreme determination to solve your daughter’s case? Is this person(s) still out there? Could they terrorize and destroy another family? This is so scary and unsettling. Are you guys still in the same house? Do you have any further ideas on a suspect? Please tell me that there is more effort being brought to this case! It is heartbreaking!!! I pray that you get answers….any parent deserves closure whether it’s devastating or peaceful. May God bless you and help shed light on answers you so desperately deserve! I hope to hear soon that there has been justice for Morgan……I am so very sorry for your tragic loss……

    • Amanda thanks for writing in. The suspect had been known since 3 months before Morgan’s murder. She id’d him to the felony stalking detective, the sheriffs knew, we knew, her friends knew, her teachers knew, almost everyone knew who he was, but 5 months after Morgan’s murder the sheriffs dropped the stalking case and pretended like they never had a suspect. This person is still out there and these type of stalkers never stop. There needs to be an investigation and justice for Morgan.

I hope there will be justice soon and I greatly appreciate your kind words.

  4. I just watched this episode. As a mother my heart breaks for you and your family. I hope and pray you find the answers you need so you can find peace. ❤️

    • Thank you so very much! Our lives will never be the same again without Morgan but we will continue on in her honor and try to help as many other victims as we possibly can. Justice for Morgan will still remain at the top of our list though.

  5. Hello! I just watched your show. I was creeped out the entire time. I spent that night and this morning going thru all info. Morgan was murdered. Anyone with a lick of sense in their head will see that. It’s obvious the gar field county dept. Messed up or had some ties to those involved and to keep a lawsuit from coming g their way has tried to cover it up. BH most certainly killed your daughter. I can’t figure out whether he did it or was smart enough to have the girls do it for him. BH obviously hated morgan, and morgan was about to go public with information that would destroy K. I’m surprised though that the girls haven’t slipped or come clean. BH now has a daughter and she has to know she took the life of someone else’s daughter. She has to have tremendous guilt. I’m still sshocked they won’t reopen the case. If your daughter killed herself….where are the drugs that did it? ♡ your daughter’s beauty and soul is seen thru all of her pictures. Keep fighting momma!!

    • Thank you for your thoughts! As far as the guilt goes I don’t think I agree that she is capable of any kind of guilt. Sadly there are people in our society that are born sociopaths and have absolutely no feelings for others. In fact a friend of her mother’s came to me after Morgan’s death to tell me the mother had told her years before that she did not think her daughter had a soul…that is a very strange and haunting thing to think about. 🙁

  6. I just watched this episode….it was so very real in where the actor was scared it scared me…when I saw what happened to your daughter at the end I instantly started to cry…I have 2 (very) young boys (4 and 7) I can’t imagine living what you guys lived through…but I know as a parent you are doing everything you can to bring light to her story…I wish you guys luck in finding the truth

    • Thank you so much Michelle. A parents love for their children never ends and can not be severed even by death. Morgan will always be our baby, and our love for her never ends. Hold tight to those beautiful little boys because they are a gift, and now I know our children are not guaranteed to always be around. Take care!

  7. Dear Morgan’s mom,

I pray that they reopen this case and give Morgan justice. It still haunts me the way this case was dismissed, of a obvious murder. May God Bless you and your family.

    Sincerely,
    Teresa Schindler

  8. I am very sorry for your loss however, it seems like mom’s over the top drama and hysteria probably scared the heck our of Morgan and she thought it was her fault all this was happening. This very well may have pushed her to suicide especially if she suffered from depression in the past which was the reason she had this prescription.

    • Sue – my first thought was that she had been frightened to death by her stalker but now after seeing, reading and knowing about all the physical & toxicological evidence it is apparent to all of us as well as the forensic experts, criminal experts and other law enforcement that she was murdered and she did not commit suicide. Her toxicology results CONFIRM she was not taking any prescription drugs before her murder – and science doesn’t lie, only people do.

Also, just an aside but you brought it up Morgan never suffered from depression and she never took medication for it. She was completely opposite what the “others” are trying to portray her as. She had chronic pain for years after suffering from the effect of long term exposure to low levels of Carbon Monoxide (look it up – it also should be something people should be aware of for their own safety)…she was put on low dose amitriptyline for that pain (that level is not used for depression) and people out on the Internet like to try and confuse people about this fact. You can probably do the research yourself…it’s out there.

    • Sue – thank you for your thoughts. First of all I would like to say yes, Morgan was a loving a caring person so she was upset that this was happening, and sad that both of her parents were having to deal with this…this is definitely a feeling most victims of stalking would have at one time or another, the feeling that it was their fault. Although this is one of the normal feelings that most stalking victims have it doesn’t drive them to suicide. Morgan never suffered from depression and anyone that tells you that is just plain lying.

Morgan NEVER took medication for depression she took low dose (25 mg) for chronic pain for the the effects of long term exposure to low levels of carbon monoxide (look it up), but discontinued it 1 1/2 years prior to her murder. She was an amazing person – she used all kinds of healthy alternative ways to alleviate pain, yoga, dance, music, meditation, organic foods, etc.. Morgan had an old

        expired

prescription for low dose 25 mg amitriptyline that she had stopped taking over one and a half year prior to her murder. Her toxicology result positively prove that she WAS NOT taking it and that it was a one time MASSIVE dose. She would have died with less than 1,000 ng in her blood, but she had over 7,900 ng in her blood so it would have needed to be in liquid form and injected into her body or it would not have had that level. And yes we have a picture of the injection mark. Liquid amitriptyline is made for horses, we had a horse ranch directly behind our house that the suspects had access to and yes that medication was there. Did you know that amitriptyline is on the sexual assault panel at all labs? Why is that – do you ever wonder?

  9. I think that it was so terrible and I think that the two autopsy reports were so far apart that that in itself is alarming and definately should be questioned, I attended a coroner’s inquest into my brothers death, I didn’t know what to expect and wasn’t prepared at all but I know after watching your programme that you are more than ready and you will keep going and get the answers you need, good luck your doing brilliantly, Laura from UK xxxxx

  10. It bothers me that they continued to let her stay in her room. She even asked her father at one point if she could stay with them and he told her no go to bed. Why? Why couldn’t she stay with her parents? And ….also did not seem that there was enough police presence in this investigation. at least that’s not what it seemed like! Although my condolences go out to the family, I also have children, I do not understand why they kept taking it upon themselves instead of getting more police involved. I would never ever ever let her sleep by herself until this was resolved. God bless her. I hope she is resting in peace. I also hope they find this person who did such a tragic thing to this
    family.

    • The ID show was not totally correct as it was a dramatization. Anytime Morgan asked to stay in our room her father always said yes… so that was absolutely not true. Morgan slept in our walk in closet for almost a whole month in the beginning she was so frightened. Then she decided she just couldn’t do it any longer and wanted to sleep in her own room. So many times I slept in her room with her. So many times I got up in the middle of the night and checked in on her. Then we got her a panic button, she would also text me from her bed while I was in bed if she heard something, we always responded and then it finally it got to the point where she would either sleep at her friends house or bring friends home with her to feel safe. The night she was murdered was one of the few nights that no one slept over…it was the perfect storm and as experts in stalking know when you have a stalker that is always watching you they slip into that one crack and make their move. Morgan’s case became a felony stalking case and a detective was assigned to her case. Morgan identified her stalker after he started to follow her in her car. Her sister, Godfather, soul mate and best friend all tried to get her to go stay with them in different states in order to escape her stalker because they were so afraid for her. Her father and I both tried to get her to go but she refused as she only had a few weeks before her semester at college ended and she didn’t want to leave her puppy behind. We made plans to move, we even had our dining room filled with bins as we were packing to move but it was too late. We felt the danger, Morgan felt the danger but we had did not have the knowledge we have today of the true danger that she was facing. That is one of the big reasons for this blog…I want to make sure people know about the mistakes we made so they don’t repeat those same mistakes.

Thank you for writing in and for wanting justice for Morgan.

  11. Have there been any new developments? I can;t even begin to feel what you are going through but as a mother to a daughter I do feel your pain and hope and pray the truth surfaces. You and your wife are in our prayers. I watched that episode twice and no matter how many times I watch it, it is heartbreaking.

    • Thank you so much Palma for sharing your thoughts with us. Almost every week there are new developments – new information or evidence we obtain. Her case is not officially open yet and that is the hardest part for us, but I know in my heart it will get opened, because we have the hard evidence that can not be ignored for long. 3 years ago I was told by the CBI that time is on our side – I could not understand what that meant. I thought the longer this case sat cold the harder it would be to ultimately get a conviction, but now 3 years later I do understand…more and more strong evidence is found over the years and more people come forward with information. So wish us luck – we will never give up! 🙂

I welcome your feelings and ideas on Morgan's Stalking
