The Sheriff’s Supplemental Reports

This is what you will see, starting with Supplemental #1 from the Garfield County Sheriffs.

I am slowly going back through my old posts on this blog, that are from my Timeline, in order to add the Sheriff’s Supplemental Reports… – it will be a slow process so please bear with me, as it is upsetting to relive this over, and over again…but I will.

As I update the posts, if you would like to read those posts again, the ones that are dated, starting with “Day One of Morgan’s Stalking,” you will be able to see a much more complete picture of what was happening back then, and what was promised, but not happening, in this stalking case.  There were many mistakes made on the part of the sheriffs, and at this point I can only hope that they have learned from those mistakes, and will change their protocol in future cases.  We all make mistakes, BUT if we don’t learn from those mistakes, in order to get it right in the fight for justice, then the only thing that comes to my mind is that ego is more important than helping victims…and that is so not right!

When I woke up this morning, I walked around the house and I kept saying out loud, “I want you here Morgan, I want to share the magic of Christmas with you again.”  My tears kept falling, the pain in my chest was crushing, and then I said out loud, “I know you can’t be here, but I just want you here so badly sweetheart.”  Again, I know we can never bring Morgan back, which is my greatest wish, but maybe, just maybe, the lessons learned from her case can help save another innocent victim of stalking.

My wish for the New Year is to have Morgan’s case finally opened, investigated, and arrests made, as there is NO statute of limitation on murder.  I will continue my work as a Victim’s Advocate, working with the families of Missing Person & Cold Case Homicide cases, but every single day I still imagine what it would be like to finally have #Justice4Morgan – because she deserves it and we are still waiting for it come.

  1. I am so sorry for your loss. I absolutely can NOT fathom the loss of my children. My heart genuinely breaks for you. I did want to say though, I think it’s very irresponsible of you to class Amitriptyline as a “date rape drug” as it is NOT. Did you consider it a date rape drug when it was prescribed to Morgan? There are thousands and thousands of people who rely on this drug, as well as others like it for their mental well being. With the stigma that’s already placed on mental health and well being, statements like yours are not only insensitive but dangerous.
Again, I’m so very sorry for your loss. I hope you and your family are able to find peace. <3

    • Rhiannon – I completely understand what you are trying to say, and yes Amitriptyline (Elavil) is an old medication and many, many people take it and for them it is safe, but you have to understand that criminals do take things that are safe in small doses and use large doses for nefarious reasons and Amitriptyline has been used for such a reason and that’s why it is considered a sexual assault drug.

Morgan was prescribed a low dose from Children’s Hospital for for headaches, and pain caused by exposure to Carbon Monoxide. It is used in low doses for the prevention of migraines, treatment of neuropathic pain such as fibromyalgia and postherpetic neuralgia, and less commonly insomnia. But it is also on the list of sexual assault drugs to be tested for in labs across the country, because in large amounts it can, and has been used, for sexual assaults, just as many other prescription drugs have been used. I firmly believe the Amitriptyline that was injected into Morgan’s arm (yes, we have a picture of the injection mark), and it was liquid equine Amitriptyline (in the amount to use on a 1,200 lb horse – Morgan was only 110 lbs). Amitriptyline is used on animals, as well as people, and was most likely stolen from the ranch behind our house.

By sharing this information I have already had veterinarians in Colorado contact me to let me know that because of my post they have become aware of the abuse of that equine drug, and now they will no longer prescribing and giving it to horse owners to use on their own. They will now only administer the drug to the animal themselves. They used to just sell the vials of the liquid Amitriptyline to their customers so the customer could administer the drug…most people do not know this.

A big purpose of sharing the information and facts on this blog is to raise awareness with the truth. You can read more about what drugs were on the sexual assault panel at the lab that ran Morgan’s postmortem blood sample http://morganingram.com/wordpress/?p=6388 Hope this helps.
