I’ve taken your suggestions and created a petition entitled Colorado State Governor John Hickenlooper: We want Morgan Ingram’s felony stalking investigation to be investigated by the Attorney General of Colorado.
At first I thought of collecting 100 signatures, and I appreciate all your help as we passed that goal quite quickly and now I think 1,500 signatures is possible.

I recorded Dr. Phil a couple of days ago and finally got to watch it tonight. I have to say that the girl onstage that you suspect of murdering your beautiful daughter just didn’t seem very innocent acting to me. I urge you to go back and watch the taping again if you havn’t already done so. Her reaction or lack there of, body language and very slight but obvious irritation screams volumes!! I believe just as you do that she had something to do with the the murder of Morgan. I had a friend that was mentally ill and she was terrified of dying on 06-06-06. So the night before she took alot of pills to keep her sleeping through the night and inadvertantly killed herself. When the autopsy was done they found alot of undissolved pills still in her stomach. During the entire show I kept asking myself, if they (police) believed she committed suicide then they would have found some pills still in her. Then towards the end you said there were no pills in her stomach. I have to tell you that I have never heard of anyone dissolving their pills in liquid before they decided to take their own life. First it would make it much too bitter to drink it and secondly I didn’t hear anything about the police finding anything in your house (glass) that would have still contained high levels of drug residue in it if she had dissolved pills in liquid. Certainly she wouldn’t have taken the time to wash her glass if she were wanting to kill herself! I also wanted to say that except for Dr. Phil’s sympothy for you and your husband it just seemed to me that he was all but attacking you for what you believe. I think he doesn’t believe you and the only reason he suggested the case be reopened is so that once and for all you will understand it was suicide and not murder. It’s almost like he was attacking you and not focusing on the ones there that needed to be focused on. One more thing, did any of the people take or offer to takea polygraph? I believe your daughter was murdered and therefore I will be adding anything I can find of yours to my Facebook profile and ask my friends and family to post it on theirs as well. My prayer for you and your husband is that those involved in this are brought to justice and you can finally have a little peace.

I agree about the body language . I think she was not being honest. She then had the nerve to get smart about some one checking her fb saying that was stalking her, what you put out there on the net is public knowledge..
Hi! The Dr Phill on your case just aired in South Africa. I want to send my condolences and commend you for your strength at never letting this go. I’d do the same… I wouldn’t rest until justice has been served. Trust your gut. Mom’s know best!
Thank you so much Emma for your support. We are not giving up – ever! Morgan, just like Ashley Fallis from Evans, CO was murdered and was not a suicide. In the Ashley Fallis case the police & coroner would not change her manner of death either but a grand jury came back with a decision of murder after only deliberating for 3 days. They extradited her murderer, arrested him and he is in jail awaiting trial. In Morgan’s case I believe indictments will be made and ultimately an arrest of her murderer. The only part I don’t know is when…every step seems to take so long. We have more than enough solid evidence at this point in time we just have to go through all the legal and political maneuverings. Murder should just be considered murder but in some small rural areas predators get away with murder for many different reasons. Take care!
i just ended up with dr phil part, i think they ? and her ex boyfriend doesnt mention to kill her, they probably do not think that they took too much medication for her, probably they want to take some naked picture or maybe sex abuse, to making her stalking even worse, and they have no idea that soooo much medication would kill her!! but i am sure that girl and boy, who is hiding right now, are guilty of involuntary manslaughter
Most inportantly I can not imagine the pain that you both have had to endure and I will pray for strength for you both. I first heard of your experience on the Dr. Phil show and I do not ever involve myself in stories such as this, but I can not seem to stop thinking about it. What a botched investigation.
My Father is a retired detective of 40 years of service and I have read him your blog, news reporting etc. He feels without a doubt your daughter was a victim of a serious crime that resulted in her death.
You would be surprised at the evidence that still can be found if you can clear your eyes.
This stalker was on your roof laughing at the officers and your husband as they searched for him, He most likely gained access to your attic and listend to the comings and goings of the household, He became more and more braisin over time until he was so bold he entered her room. And he or they most certainly killed your daughter (with or without intent),
There are many retired detectives out there that take on cases such as yours for free. I would not at this time expect help or include your local sheriff department, Admitting in any form that they messed up is opening themselves up for litigation and they will avoid that “anyway” they can,

I just saw Dr. Phil, I would like to say that I’m sorry about her death and stalking. No one deserves to be stalked or killed. I don’t know what happened but I guess we’ll have to wait and find out. 🙂

Keep up fighting for justice. I saw the dr Phil show and the girl on stage had no feelings regarding what appen to your daughter. I believe she knows what happen to your daughter. She displayed a Flat affect. I think she has her dad fooled and Dr Phil. Terrible investigation by authorities. Case needs reopened.
Thanks Becca for weighing in – I agree with everything except I know her father knows – the morning Morgan’s body was found he called a client in Aspen and left her a voice message saying that his daughter’s boyfriend is the stalker and he needed to stay home to find out what was going on because his neighbors (us) had crime scene tape around their house.
I had never actually seen or heard of your website until the Dr. Phil show. I just wanted to comment because, I was in shock with that girls answers and attitude toward the whole situation and your daughter. It made my stomach turn to watch. She had no sympathy and almost seemed to gain some enjoyment out of your pain. I hope her demeanor alone is enough to re-open this case. I am truly sorry for your loss and I hope that justice is finally done.
Thank you so much for commenting…I don’t think her demeanor on the show is enough to open the case, as is the same for Dr. Phil suggesting the case be opened. It is now up to Steve and I to bring all the pieces together in on cohesive manner in order for law enforcement to understand all the evidence that they have as well as all the laws that were broken in this case. I pray it happens soon as to keep another young woman from ending up with the same fate as our daughter. I’t been hard but every day we remember that we have to stay the course…so of course we will keep going. Take care!
Can investigator not look into Brooks prescribed drugs?maybe see what shes had or see if aspen equestrian had those drugs? I love where we live but garfield police is rediculous when if comes to anything serious. When is going to the Supreme Court available? I can’t believe there isn’t anyone that can’t figure this out. You are the farthest thing from delusional and the “mom” they showed? Hello what a random person that has no idea about her just says your delusional she’s unimportant and crazy if she thinks opening her mouth to this was ok. Morgan was the happeist person and so grateful to all things living and respected her life as she respected others! That girl was jealous, you couldn’t help but be jealous to someone so beautiful and bright. Everyone loved her and we all couldn’t help it. That girl just is rotten and Morgan knew it. I hope she gets help and is off the streets of our beautiful valley.
Keep the faith – things are about to happen in Morgan’s case, and this beautiful valley is not going to put up with things like this happening in the future, if I have any say in it.
Families here have a right to justice, truth and honesty. We all have the right to be informed, and help each other. Morgan did not deserve to be stalked, tormented and murdered…there will be justice, and knowing how much Morgan cared more about others than herself Steve & I are determined that there will be changes made so this will not continue to happen to others.
Morgan was the happiest person I have ever met in my life too, and Steve and I are so blessed that she chose us as parents – we will not let her down – we will do the job we were now given (even though we would never have wanted it) and we will do it to the very best of our abilities! We miss Morgan so much and we love her so much, but I know we are not the only ones that lost out when her life was taken from this earth.

Dr. Phil’s episode about Morgan has just been shown in Australia. It upset me so much as I have 21 year old daughter and I would absolutely devastated. You are both so strong.Keep on fighting.The truth is in arms reach- it just needs to be investigated by the police properly and thoroughly.I will follow the case.

I too am in Australia and only just watching Dr Phil that I’d recorded today and I really hope you get Morgan’s case reopened. I am a mother and I know you just need answers. To me the cops botched this investigation. You have 50 reports and video footage, why did they not investigate further? I truely hope they reopen asap as you have waited long enough to get to the truth. Good luck
