How did her stalker always know right when Morgan came home? He always started his tapping and banging on her window within 15 minutes of her arriving at her house. This is a very important question as the Sheriff’s Patrol Officers later on believed it had to be someone in our neighborhood that could see her coming home. The Sheriff’s suggested that we not speak to our neighbors about what was happening, in order to give them a better chance of catching this stalker off-guard if he was in our neighborhood…the problem with this tactic is that if more people in your neighborhood know, the more eyes you have watching out for you, it makes it harder on the criminal to sneak around, and it is easier to catch the criminal, but we did not know at the time so we took the Patrol Officer’s suggestion and tried to keep it quiet for the time being.
A little later on when we captured the first picture of the stalker and there were Sheriff’s Patrol Officers parked all around our house not all the neighbors could be kept in the dark any longer. One of them just stormed up our driveway and demanded to know what was going on. He also stopped and spoke with one of the officers. So a couple of them did find out, which was good because right after that happened we came the closest (in my opinion) to catching the stalker…but you will read about that on August 29th.
Hi Toni, saw you guys on Dr.Phil and felt so bad for you, it got me intrigued with this case so i started readng your blog.
When i was in my 20’s, i was stalked by a girl that dated my ex-boyfriend. Utimately it ended in her assualted me and after taking her to court, she then stopped. I am just wondering, if you know what prompted this stalking of your daughter?
First let me say how sorry I am that you had to go through that in your 20’s – it is a horrible experience.
I have multiple theories on why her stalking started, but there are many different kinds of stalkers and many different kinds of motivations see http://homepage.psy.utexas.edu/homepage/group/busslab/stalkinghelp/StalkingWhyAm.html so until Morgan’s investigation is open and all the evidence is laid out that would be a hard question for me to answer.
Also, when I watched Dr. Phil , I wasn’t really sure what happened, but after reading your posts, I feel like on that show you weren’t allowed to give the details and specifics of what you KNEW happened. Have you ever considered the show Dateline or 48 Hours Mysteries? Someone may have already asked you this and I apologize in advance, but I think with those shows, people could really see the whole story and timeline of events. I’m sure you have probably thought of this already but …… just wondering if this would help!

Dr. Phil suggested you “shut down the blog”. I am not an attorney and do not know the legal ramifications of accusing someone of murder. But you go ahead and do what you feel is right to get justice for your daughter. Unless we have walked in your shoes, we can’t tell you what to do!
Thank you for responding! It seems like you really try to respond to everyone. This must be an exhausting and time consuming task but hopefully it helps with your grief. After reading your posts and everyone else’s that have gone thru this, i feel silly calling my situation stalking. It might be closer to harassment.
All I know is, it went on for about a year. She followed me, called my home and work. Came to my work. Distributed defaming flyers about me to my work and other places. Looking back as an adult, I feel like I could have handled things better and done things differently. I am not saying I am blameless at all. However, I do remember thinking and saying to my friends, that if I came up missing or dead, they would know who did it.
Looking over your shoulder constantly takes a toll and NO one should have to go thru that. My situation was so much much less than yours.
I don’t know how you guys did it. I doubt that i could have.
Are you F’ING KIDDING ME? I would NEVER watch dphil. NOT a fan. However, others I respect do like him or at least watch him… my point is HOW DARE HE?!?!??!?! Someone very powerful indeed for him to suggest you shut down this blog. I would open TWELVE MORE.

I saw your story documented on ID Discovery’s new show Suspicion. I did not see the Dr. Phil show so I apologize if I do not know all the facts. Why do you believe Morgan was murdered and did not snap from the overwhelming feelings of being stalked causing her to end her life just to end the stalking. She seemed helpless and hopeless to catching the perps. I will keep reading, but even if Morgan was driven to suicide, the stalkers should be held accountable for manslaughter at the very least. I will keep reading…
Tracey thanks for writing in. If you start at Day 1 of Morgan’s stalking http://morganingram.com/wordpress/?p=389 and read through I think it will help you understand. Being a victim of a stalker is horrifying and Morgan’s stalker was able to not only frighten her but steal sleep from her as well. She was exhausted. Tuesday before her stalking the felony stalking detective came to our house to check his cameras as well as talk to me about what he thought might be happening. He said he thought the stalker was going to escalate so he was putting extra patrols on but he also said the following week after Morgan’s on-camera statement and the collection of the stalker’s work hours he thought he was getting close to an arrest so Morgan was actually feeling positive about an end to the stalking sometime soon – she even told her doctor Wednesday, the day before her murder, while she was getting her annual checkup. I didn’t know what she told her doctor until after she was murdered. Her doctor even told the forensic pathologist Morgan was positive, upbeat, refused medication to help her sleep just very exhausted – but he didn’t care to listen to ANYONE with any truthful information about Morgan. And we now know years later that the toxicology results completely contradict both manners of death the coroner came up with – she had 6 prescription drugs in her body, 5 of which she had never taken in her life, and we never had in our house, and all 6 are on the sexual assault panel. Of course there is so much more evidence we now have that shows foul play, a struggle and possible sexual assault but we can not share all of it with the public it is for a future criminal case against her murderer.
